Festive fun with Fragata and Omar

Last night we put on our glad rags and headed down to our favourite restaurant, Tapas Revolution, for the most amazing tapas meal.

Not only did we get to enjoy the company of our celebrity ambassador, Omar Allibhoy, but also we were joined by: top food blogger, Andrea Soranidis from Petite Cook and Francesca Newman Young, from the hit TV show, Made in Chelsea.

We arrived in the very festive looking Westfield Centre and headed straight to Tapas Revolution, where Omar greeted us with marinated Fragata olives and carafes of sangria – our favourite.

Using Fragata products including: guindillas, pimiento piquillo peppers, garlic cloves and, of course, olives, Omar created this incredible menu:

Jamon Iberico de bellota

Acorn fed Iberico ham

Pan con tomate

Toasted bread rubbed with tomatoes and olive oil

Aceitunas marinadas a la andaluza

Marinated Andalusian style Fragata olives

Croquetas de bacalao con pure de Piquillos

Salted cod croquettes with Fragata pimiento piquillo pepper purée

“Gilda” de guindilla, boqueron y aceituna

Traditional snack with pickled chilli, anchovy and Fragata olives

Carpaccio de atun, vinagreta de alcaparras y ajo encurtido

Carpaccio of tuna with Fragata capers vinaigrette and pickled garlic

Carrillera con piquillos, aceitunas y chocolate

Slow braised pork cheeks with Fragata pimiento piquillo peppers, Fragata olives and chocolate

Alitas de pollo con mermelada de naranja amarga

Chicken wings glazed La Vieja Fabrica bitter orange marmalade

Tarta de queso con mermelada La Vieja Fabrica

Cheese cake with La Vieja Fabrica marmalade.

As you can see by the pictures below, it looked out of this world, we’re surprised it lasted on the plate long enough to take the snap!

We had an excellent night and we’re going to be trying to make some of the dishes, especially the salted cod croquettes. Have you visited Tapas Revolution yet? If so, let us know what your favourite dish is!
