Leftovers… what leftovers?

It’s here! The sleigh is being prepped, Rudolph is shining is nose… yes, Santa Claus is officially on his way.

Now the gifts are under the tree and the kids are behaving impeccably with the threat of the naughty list, it’s time to put your feet up, grab a hot chocolate (perhaps with a splash of Baileys) and tuck into this warming, comforting savoury bread and butter pudding.

This dish is guaranteed to warm your cockles on a cold December night. With delicious cheesy and eggy bread, mixed with our tasty pitted green olives, this meal has real depth. This recipe is brilliant for using up leftover turkey. If you’re a vegetarian just leave the turkey out – it tastes just as great!

Savoury bread and butter is a dish that all the family will love, serve it as it is or add lots more veg on the side to really make a meal of it!
