Festive Olive Wreath Platter

Fragata Filled OlivesFragata Olives

Feeling festive? This dazzling olive platter centrepiece is perfect for any celebration, with plenty of delights for every guest to enjoy. Sharing is a huge part of the Mediterranean diet. Many of its followers will tell you that it’s not only about the foods that you enjoy, but how you enjoy them - in a relaxed setting, sharing with friends and family, and making mealtimes memorable. And what better way to invite everyone to tuck in than with this platter, filled with mouthwatering favourites! Olives are the star of the show. There’s a generous selection of Fragata olives, filled with a variety of flavours and marinated with herbs and seasoning too. Of course, you can use any of your favourites here. It’s easy to make a vegetarian platter by replacing the anchovy and chorizo olives. Yet a spread works really well to excite everyone’s palate. You could even marinate your own olives. Start with our classic green or black olives, add your favourite flavours and plenty of olive oil, and leave in the fridge overnight. It’s another way to ensure your platter is bursting with the flavours you (and your guests) go wild for. The finishing touches make this a feast for the eyes too. Sprinkle with pomegranate seeds to add colour and crunch. Add sprigs of rosemary for a hint of what’s to come. And generously season with freshly ground black pepper to bring the whole platter together. Then all that’s left to do is to serve it up. Perhaps with warm bread or Crostini, and a glass of Spanish wine to toast the festive season.
